This week we're mixing things up a bit! We're excited to bring you our first in a line of Friday Finds workspaces segments. These workspace features are designed to show people that while a high-end, top of the line work studio is really nice, it's not always necessary and that all it takes is a little imagination to turn any place into a sweet workspace and create some really cool stuff. This week we get a sneak peak at fibrous' workspace.
fibrousWhat do you create?I create felted creatures, flowers, and other goodies. Most of what I do is needle felted, so I don't need very many materials - needles and wool, sometimes glue, thread, and pins.
Tell us a little about your workspace please: I live in a small apartment, so I don't have a dedicated craft space.
Instead, my workspace consists mainly of my couch (which has a handy no-sew reupholstery). I keep my needles and pads on the arm of the couch, and I have a little box on a coffee table which holds the scissors, ruler, and other crafty things I might need while crafting. Under the table is a plastic tub where I keep the wool.
Nice socks!What inspires you?I am inspired by cute and whimsical things. Some of them are odd, like Larry the mole, and some are just cute, like my hedgehogs.
